While many groups are all stationed in one place at the same time, Tanya Morgan is not. Von Pea the "producer" of the group, lives in Brooklyn while Ilyas and DonWill are both residents of Cincinnati, Ohio. Well you are probably asking yourself, How can a artists combine from two separate parts of the United States to form a group, be as solid as they are, and vibe off of each other? The answer is.....I don't know...lol....We might have to have an exclusive interview with the members to get that question answered.This trio; who at first the name sounded like a neo-soul group because of the name and the art cover, is so far from that. Their album "Moonlighting" is a refreshing alternative to the games' over exposed grime and thug movement that is going on at this time. At first listen the album took me back in time to the era where the Native Tongue's ruled and the jazzy cool out vibe was the norm. I would like to be able to tell you who produced most of the album, but the copy I got was only a sleeve jacket. But I am sure that it was done by Von Pea and another producer named Brickbeats (also known as Dave or Brick).

Why did I do it? I dunno to be honest. Just needed to do somethin' with all the music I was getting on more than a daily basis. I also make mixtapes, which I call "Blak Noize" that I hand out to my peoples. Just somethin' to bump to because there is so much garbage out there. And I don't even mean BET/MTV type bubble gum cookie cutter rap. Even in the underground world. EVERYBODY can make these soul sampled beats and everybody spits. But you can't fake the heart! So I guess my role in this game is to provide y'all with what I believe to be REAL & BANGIN' Hip-Hop.

Rule of Thumb#1: Just because its underground doesn't mean its real. It could mean nobody is feelin' the artist and they cannot get a deal.

Rule of Thumb #2: Just because they are "mainstream" doesn't mean they aren't real. It might mean that millions of people are feelin' the shit because it is good music!

So with that being said, let me know how I am doin' with this ish! Feedback on my uploads. So far so good with the selections. I don't really hate on anybody. I have and will be postin' more mixtape type ish because sometimes its just good to let the beat knock and listen to "MC Name Goes Here" just spit his brains out. I don't like to be trenched in deep though all the time. Even Munks don't meditate ALL day.

Also let me know what type of artist you wanna see on here. I will probably have the CD somewhere in my archives. Right now I am at about 5400 albums. Not to be cocky though, I know I got a good ear. So I encourage you to download everything I up. Its got some value to it. So if your anything like me you go from Hard, to mellow, to pure to sometimes borderline corny, or novelty rap. Return of the Good Music!

Its comin'. I was jus doin' a little bit of browsing. In the next couple weeks we got new Inspectah Deck mixtape full if exclusives and new tracks! Then we got the highly highly anticipated unreleased but much talked about Roc-A-Fella album "Ghetto Warfare". By the Brownsville duo M.O.P. All I can say is I need this in my life because all the new M.O.P. shit that been comin' out is whack. WHACK WHACK! They got no Premo or DR Period beats. That lost it. (Somebody had to say it!). I think this album should be our last taste of the M.O.P. force that we came to love Pre-Gunit! Then. Last but not least we have Mr. Tony Starks comin' with a Live album. Now he just released an album with Trife and it had a bonus DVD. He is now re-selling jsut the DVD. So I am thinkin this new CD will be the audio portion of the DVD. Its all good either way!
